B. Monét
B. Monét is a writer/director who graduated from Spelman College with a B.A. in English. She is a Maryland native who holds an MFA from New York University in Film and Television. In her films, she poses questions about identity, society, race, and culture. It is vital to her that under-represented people are shown in film, media, and television. Her award-winning short film Q.U.E.E.N. has screened at over a dozen festivals including Cannes Short Film Corner and premiered on Magic Johnson's channel ASPiRE. She was also named the 2017 Horizon Award Winner through Cassian Elwes, Christine Vachon and Lynette Howell - Taylor at the Sundance Film Festival. As well as a recipient of the Adrienne Shelly Foundation grant and directing fellow for Film Independent's residency program Project Involve. She’s been fortunate to work with Reese Witherspoon, Janet Jackson, Rosario Dawson, Chika, Rapsody and Shangela for brands like Cadillac, Crate and Barrel, Estee Lauder, Uber, OkayAfrica, OkayPlayer, Hyundai and many more. B. Monét won the 2018 Best Graduate Feature Screenplay for her feature film Q.U.E.E.N. She is a recipient of the Will & Jada Smith Family Foundation grant at Fusion Film Festival, finalist in the Women in Film Mini Upfronts Program and Sundance Women’s Financing Intensive Project Fellow for her feature film Q.U.E.E.N. She was also selected as one of the participants in the Artist Academy with the New York Film Festival and Lincoln Center. Most recently, she was selected as one of the winners for the Queen Collective partnership with Queen Latifah, Tribeca Studios and Proctor and Gamble. Her short film Ballet After Dark is exclusively streaming on BET. Currently, she’s in post production for her first feature length documentary entitled Black Girls. It’s the companion piece to Black Boys currently streaming on Apple TV, Peacock and Amazon Prime.

Juan Pablo Arias Muñoz
Juan Pablo Arias Muñoz is a writer-director from Chile who draws upon fantastical storytelling and magical realism from his Latin American heritage to create emotional and thought-provoking films.
His award-winning work has been exhibited at over sixty film festivals around the world including the New York Film Festival, AFI Fest, Stockholm International Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, Los Angeles Latino Film Festival and SITGES Fantastic Film Festival. His debut feature entitled PUMPKINHOLE is available for streaming on Apple TV and Prime Video.
Throughout his career he has received support from the HBOACCESS DIRECTING program, PGA CREATE, the BMP BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST program, the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF LATINO INDEPENDENT PRODUCERS, the HOLA MEXICO’S TOMORROW FILMMAKER’S TODAY and the FULBRIGHT SCHOLARSHIP, one of the most widely recognized and prestigious programs in the world. In 2022 he was director shadow during the second season of HBO’s Perry Mason.
Juan Pablo received an MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute Conservatory and obtained a BA in Social Communication and Audiovisual Directing from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

Monica Moore-Suriyage
Monica Moore - Suriyage is a biracial, blasian, first generation, Afro Latina director and writer. Her first horror film “Black In Red Out” led to her being featured in the documentary “Horror Noire” about the history of Black horror, alongside icons like Jordan Peele, Tony Todd and Rachel True. Her digital short form shows on Snapchat and Facebook, music videos and branded beauty campaigns have millions of views online. Her current horror short film "La Ciguapa Siempre" is in collaboration with Netflix and the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival. The film won Best Narrative Short at the Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Film Festival, qualifying it for a 2023 Oscar. It has also screened at Fantastic Fest, FilmQuest, Screamfest, and more. She recently directed the horror short film “mediEVIL” for the anthology “Give Me An A,” created in response to Roe v. Wade being overturned. She also participated in the inaugural Filmmaker Accelerator Program, provided by the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences, and is an Academy Gold Fellow. Monica likes pretty things, scary things, and pretty scary things.

Regan Linton
Regan Linton (she/her) is an award-winning actor, director, voiceover artist, writer, educator, and disability advocate. She is an internationally-recognized leader in inclusive practices in the arts who has consistently worked toward advancement for the disability community in all areas - onstage and backstage in film/theatre/tv, leadership and administration, training/academia, and other social and business communities. Regan is co-director of the award-winning documentary imperfect (2021), which follows professional actors with disabilities as they produce a major musical at Phamaly Theatre Company in Denver, where she served as Artistic Director for five years. She is an avid creator of original work and adaptations of established works that upend stale narratives about non-normative humans, often through a lens of disability aesthetics. Her original projects include plays, web-based series, and educational programs for youth. She has consulted around incorporating the disability aesthetic into creative projects, including David Byrne’s immersive Theatre of the Mind at Off-Center at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA). She has performed at top regional theatres across the US and beyond, including Manhattan Theatre Club, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Arena Stage, Mixed Blood (MN), Pasadena Playhouse, DCPA’s Off-Center, Phamaly, and Apothetae (NY). She has voiced for podcasts, educational projects, and industrials. Regan is a regular featured columnist for New Mobility Magazine covering topics such as body image, sexuality, and self-actualization. Regan has an MFA in Acting from UC San Diego, Master of Social Work from University of Denver, and BA from USC. She lives with a T-4 complete spinal cord injury. www.reganlinton.com

Robin Cloud
Robin Cloud is an award-winning director, writer and comedian working in television and film. As a member of the 2020 Class of the American Film Institute's Directing Workshop for Women, Robin wrote and directed the short film 2 Dollars that premiered at the BFI Flare Film Festival in London. During its festival run, 2 Dollars earned several audience, best ensemble and best of the festival awards. Her first narrative short, Out Again, was executive produced by Refinery29 as part of their Shatterbox Anthology. Out Again has successfully screened at over 40 film festivals throughout the world. Her docu-series, Passing: A Family in Black & White, executive produced by Topic/First Look Media, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Passing has gone on to be Topic’s most streamed series to date. In 2021, Robin wrote and directed This Old House which premiered on Hulu as part of their Bite-Size Halloween Series. Cloud is an Alliance for Women Directors Black Directors Advancement Initiative Fellow, a Kickstarter Creative Fellow, and a graduate of Lena Waithe's Hillman Grad mentee program. Robin has been featured in The New York Times, The LA Times, The Washington Post, Diva Magazine, and GO magazine’s “Top 100 Women We Love.” She graduated cum laude from Howard University's School of Communications where she studied film under Haile Gerima. In addition, she studied cinematography at the School of Visual Arts. Her production company, Cloud Creative Media, focuses on creating independent scripted and documentary series and films. She is represented by APA and Underground Management.

Taietsarón:sere 'Tai' Leclaire
Taietsarón:sere ‘Tai’ Leclaire is a Native American actor, comedian, writer. His short film HEADDRESS that he wrote, directed, and starred in premiered at the 2023 SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL. He was a Story Editor and actor on the NBC comedy series RUTHERFORD FALLS by Mike Schur, Ed Helms, and Sierra Teller-Ornelas. Tai has been selected as a member of the 2022 Sundance Native Lab and was recently awarded The Indigenous list in Partnership with The Black List. He is a former house performer at Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre. He’s also performed at festivals around the country.
